| Description: | Sold, but if you send us yours maybe we can duplicate this for you. This started with a used AE block that we finished in ceramic embedded gloss black 500 degree heat paint. We had it align bored, drilled and tapped to clean the oil gallies, clean cut the cylinder seating area, installed 10mm case savers, surfaced the relief plug bores and hot tanked the block clean. A perfect, used standard/standard 4 dowel crank was polished and balanced to go inside. On that we hung Rimco rebuilt, resized, rebushed, end to end and mate balanced stock rods. At the back we put a new stock 12 Volt flywheel & silicone fly seal with a German gland nut and large Empi washer. A new Engle 110 cam turns (in double thrust bearings) a stock fixed timing, new, helical cut gear. Rimco reground oem lifters are hand picked by weight. A 26mm gear, Schadek oil pump is installed on long studs. A perfect used, no drain plug style drain plate is there with a new oil screen. A new distributor drive pinion gear is installed with new washers and distributor tension spring. Nylock nuts are on the mains, surrounds, oil pump & valve train. A perfect used steel cam drive gear and a new distributor drive gear is on the crank with new spring clip & oil slinger. To go long block, we add stock 10mm head studs, then new 85.5mm FORGED pistons in new cylinders. Total Seal gapless 2nd rings and Grant rings fit the pistons. Compression ratio is 7.63:1 so you can run 87 octane pump gas. On top we add new stock heads with 1/2" plug reach bores. New painted pushrod tubes are beneath painted cylinder cool tins. Stock used, cleaned & polished pushrods rock new rockers with 9mm screws & nuts. Used, cleaned & polished stock rocker shafts with excellent used rocker blocks, washers & clips finish the valve train. We cleaned and painted used German valve covers and put on new German valve cover gaskets. New chrome valve cover bales hold 'em on. Allow 1-2 weeks to build. E-mail for shipping cost to you |
