| Description: | This long block is based on the 2332 short block also advertised in this section. The components used to long block this are: Scat Wedge Port heads polished & ported, dual springs, 44 x 37.5 valves, Titanium spring retainers (weight mated), 12mm plug bores with long reach. Combustion chambers mated at 60cc. Competition Engineering copper racing head gaskets (.090) put the compression ratio at 8.6:1cr. For more power, we could use .060 thick and bump the CR up just over 9:1 The cylinders are Century long sleeve custom cut for near zero deck. Stock cyl cool tins. Wiseco slipper skirt forged lightweight (weight mated) pistons, Wiseco top & bottom rings & Total Seal gapless 2nd rings. Empi extra long 190,000 psi chromoly head studs hold it together. Scat chromoly 3/8" Manton pushrods work the Scat Pro-Comp (weight mated) 1.4:1 race rockers on lash caps. Scat Gold big mouth windage style spring type triple Viton O-ring sealed pushrod tubes keep the oil in. Scat polished stainless steel snap on valve covers finish off the long block.
