Description:
This short block is based on a new raised roof style aluminum block. Cast solid behind #3, full flow ready & shuffle pinned on the center mains.
It has single thrust cam bearings holding an Engle FK7 cam with CB straight cut steel gears on at full advance. Any other reasonable cam may be used if you prefer.
Scat Lube-a-Lobe lifters are just above an Empi windage tray. A Melling hi volume oil pump will push the fluids.
An 84 stroke Forged Scat counterweighted crank with 8 long dowels spins 5.5" Chevy journal H beam rods w/ 3/8" bolts.
A Scat racer spacer sits between new crank gears.
On the back is a Scat chromoly 12 1/2lb 12V 200mm flywheel and a Scat chromoly gland nut/washer kit.
New oil screen, hardware kit w/ nylocks, plungers & springs and an Empi Billet drain plate w/ magnetic drain plug finish it off.
Allow 1-2 weeks to build.
