| Description: | This monster starts with a brand new vw high roof aluminum block with 10mm case savers. The block is full flow ready. This baby is going to run ALL type 4 mains for superior strength, but we don't stop there. It's also shuffle pinned. For the best lubrication known to man, we will also have it drilled for piston squirters. Along the lines of oiling, Scat lube-a-lobe lifters will be used to ride on an Engle FK-10 (539L x 310D w/ 1.4:1 rockers) cam with Empi billet steel straight cut gears set at full advance. Any other reasonable cam may be used if you prefer. Empi oil pump with a full flow face. A Scat 8 dowel 86mm Pro-Comp crank with Chevy rod journals will spin Scat H beam 5.5" rods held on by ARP 3/8" bolts. New gears, separated by a Scat racer spacer. On the backside of this powerhouse will be a Scat flanged pro-drag flywheel. Underneath, there will be a new oil screen and a Scat billet drain plate. Nothing up on top.
