Description:
This engine starts with a brand new vw aluminum case that's shuffle pinned, full flowed, opened for 92's, 8mm case savers, solid behind #3 and more.
A Scat c35 cam - straight cut steel gears and Scat lube a lobe lifters.
A windage tray, chrome sump plate with magnetic drain plug and new spring & relief plunger kit.
Chromoly head studs hold on 40 x 35.5 valved heads with dual springs & 3/4 plug reach & chromoly spring retainers.
Mahle 92 jugs with Grant top & bottom rings and Total Seal Gapless 2nds slide with teflon buttons on std length I beam custom chromoly rods.
A heavy duty oil pump pumps out to a filter bracket for hiding your oil filter under your rear fender via a filter bracket (included of course).
A new cast counterweighted crank spins it all with 8 dowels holding on a lightened steel flywheel.
A chromoly gland nut & washer hold it all together and a new hardware kit with nylocks holds the engine together. All woodruf keys and throttle tube included. A billet fuel pump block off takes the place of the standard fuel pump. A Compu-Fire Dis-IX kit with a new 009 and blue wires gives spark to long reach platinum plugs.
A chrome dist clamp, paintable alt stand and aluminum vented oil filler sits on top. A new 51 amp Bosch alternator (held on w/ stainless steel clamp) holds new tin & fan & hardware and a stock pulley with a chrome nut & spacer.
Chrome stock length dipstick, tin screws for the shroud and tin included.
A big fat belt spins on a Scat degreed stock sized pulley which is held on by an extra long chrome bolt & washer. Behind the pulley is a black breast plate tin to match the black shroud and cyl tin. Fresh air ducts, hoses & couplers are there to hook up to your heater boxes. We built the engine with J-tubes and a 1 1/2" header with dual mufflers for quiet power. Tell us you'll use your boxes and we'll subtract out the j-tubes.
A set of dual 40 HPMX's delivers the go juice and comes with chrome air filters and all the linkage naturally. Chromoly 3/8" pushrods move inside race type spring style tubes just below cool tins to keep the cylinders cool.
Copper racing head gaskets set the compression at 8.0:1 or 8.5:1 (tell us which cr you want).
Empi needle bearing 1.25:1 rockers pop the valves open underneath bolt on Empi logo C channel covers. Lash caps included.
An HP1 filter keeps pressure in line. A new stock oil cooler sits on top of the engine with a new adapter. A billet dual element breather (included) can hang on your firewall and will vent from the v-covers and the oil filler via barbs already tapped into the covers. Copper locking nuts hold on the intake and the exhaust. Every single thing in or on this engine is brand new.
