Description: You have a type 1 short block already built and now you want it to be a long block.
This is my labor to build on the short block to complete it to a long block.
Your short block will already fit the description of a short block as outlined in my Short Block category or it will cost more to build out. Additional labor is $80 per hour or part there of.
To have this work done by us, you must supply the following:
  • A clean short block. Pressure wash at a car wash or steam clean the engine before bringing it to be built
  • Bring the short block, which consists of:
    • Connecting rods hanging out of the cylinder ports
    • The drain plate on the bottom
    • The flywheel on the back
    • No pulley on the front
    • No shrouding or tin
    • Nothing on top
    • Bring with no oil in it.
  • $300 for labor only, with parts*, machine work, and any related shipping being extra.
*You may bring your parts but I'd prefer you buy mine.
I'll set your compression to what you'd like. If you don't care, I'll set it to be dependable.
